Goodbye

"Where's the good in goodbye?"
-Anonymous

Hey everyone!

I am writing to tell you that I will be going to Turkey, and therefore, will not be able to blog very much (not that I really do anyway:)). I am going to try to write new posts there, but I am not sure if it will come out well or if I will even be able to. That is why I am saying goodbye right now. Please keep following my blog, and I hope I will be able to post in Turkey, because I really want to, and that is when I will have the most time to do so.

By the way, I thought I would put pictures of two of my favorite Turkish dishes, since I'm going there. Here they are. The first one is called Manti and the second one is Lahmacun.

All right, so I hope I will be able to blog over the summer, and if I can't, then goodbye and have a fantastic summer!!! :)

An Apology

"Never ruin an apology with an excuse."
-Kimberly Johnson

Hello everyone!

I know I haven't written a post in such a long time, and I just really wanted to apologize for that. Just as the quote says, I am not going to go on about all the things that were keeping me busy, like school, events, etc. I think I just did. Anyway, I'm really sorry. I will try to put up more posts from now on.

Now that I have pushed that aside, I will move on to my next topic: books. I recently went to Barnes and Noble after a long time of not going, and I realized how much I love it there. I bought a book called The Knife of Never Letting Go. My friend had recommended it, and she told me that she really liked it, so I decided to buy it, since I hadn't bought any books for a while. (You know who you are if you are reading this "friend"). Because I never posted anything with a picture yet, I am going to put an image of the book just to see if it works.

All right, so I hope that came out nice. Thank you all for tuning in, and feel free to leave any comments! I hope to post again soon - for real this time! Farewell.

Beginning the Journey

"There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth...not going all the way, and not starting."
-Gautama Buddha

Okay, so I am writing this first post for two reasons:
1) To see how it comes out on my blog
2) To welcome all my readers and get started in my journey

That is about it for now. I hope I can keep up my blogging and hope not to let my followers down-if I end up having any of course!

Anyway, bye for now!

P.S. I know that was super short, right? :)
